RHS FLOWER SHOW TATTON PARK REVIEW

IMG_1945

The RHS Flower Show at Tatton Park was an incredible experience. While we were there to show off the benefits of X-POD, the designer garden room that offers a modern alternative to traditional wood garden rooms, we also had a LOT of fun with other exhibitors and visitors to our stand.

So…what went on?

Across the five days of the show we welcomed hundreds of visitors to our stand, all interested in exploring X-POD (and entering our prize draw – but more on that later!), and our team were kept very busy extolling the virtues of installing an X-POD garden room in your garden.

Benefits such as zero maintenance, full security, no planning permission required and more were explained and the response was amazing. We had interest from people wanting a home office, a home gym, a hair salon (and other business related ideas) and those who just wanted more space for their homes and gardens. X-POD’s versatility was really brought to the fore.

We won an award! Yes, despite this being our first time at a show of any kind, let alone one as prestigious as an RHS Flower Show, the RHS deemed our stand good enough to win a four star tradestand award! We were blown away and, of course, delighted.

We also had visitors from the Flower Show’s more…interesting…characters. Just take a look at the gallery below to see what we mean!

Quite a draw…

Yes, our award winning stand WAS quite a draw…but we’re referring to the prize draw, which gave visitors the chance to win a one night stay for two at the exclusive Swinton Park Castle Hotel in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales.

In total we had over 250 entries which we’re now sifting through before we draw the winner this week. That lucky person will be informed by Monday 29th July and we’ll announce the winner right here on our website and on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram on Wednesday 31st July.

Good luck to everyone who entered!

A very special visitor

Finally, we just want to highlight a particularly special visitor to our stand. None other than John Challis, aka Boycie of Only Fools & Horses fame! John was promoting his new book at the show and was kind enough to spare some time to join us on the stand for a coffee and take a look around X-POD. Who knows, maybe we’ll do him a tidy little deal?

“Come along, Maaarleeene!”

Some thank yous

The whole show was a huge success, particularly for us, and we’d like to thank EJ Belfield and Gibson’s Construction & Landscaping for all their efforts in creating a stunning stand which won a four star trade stand award from the RHS. Thanks should also go to the event organisers for all their help and, of course, for putting on such an amazing show across the board.
